I read somewhere about getting fastpasses early in the day because they run out. I have only been during slow times and never experienced this. What is the earliest time you have seen fastpasses run out and what attraction?

I do know that Test Track is famous for Fast Passes running out but I couldn't tell you what time.

Like Tinkbell said, we have seen Test Track run out of passes just a few hours after the park opened! I have also seen Winnie the Pooh sell out too, but that was late afternoon.

I have only seen Test Track fastpass run out before, thankfully! What stunk about TT running out was it was only a couple of hours after Epcot opened! Now we know better and get that FP first thing when we get there!!

Have fun! :)

I've seen fast pass or TT gone by 11:30 and I bet if Mission Space is a fast pass they will be gone quickly also.

I've seen Splash run out by 3 pm on a crowded Saturday in the off-season.

rock n roller coaster ran out by 5 when we were at mgm on spring break. by the way... what type of ride is mission space?

OK, somebody explain this please. I thought fastpass' were only issued for a +/- 2 hour timeframe. So, how can a fastpass for 7pm be sold out by noon?

steve

The timeframe during which you must return to the attraction is generally 1-2 hours, but the ticket can be issued anytime.

That's why it's possible to get a ticket before lunch, with a return time of 7:00 p.m. or so. It simply means that all time frames prior to 7:00 have already been allotted.

Sometimes FP is not even offered - i.e. the machines are covered - I wonder if Disney changes the rate that FP's are given out at an attraction based on variables such as expected crowd size, early entry days etc.?

For example, during our recent May 13-19 trip, FP machines (at times - sometimes in the morning/early afternoon) covered at Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, BTMRR, Buzz Lightyear,Living with the Land (not that one was needed here)

Here is another example - at Peter Pan in MK, it appeared that on an EE day, the first FP's were for a 10:00am return time at 08:00 time

There must be some logic behind it.......

Test Track for sure is a place that the FP's go very fast - often when I can, I use the singles line - moves pretty fast

Thanks
