Hello :goodvibes I think my son has came up with a way for Disney to revamp the FastPass system where we would not have to schedule them out month ahead and go back to getting them the day of (which we like). That way you can be "spontaneous" on vacation! My question is who would you submit this idea to? We don't care about getting any compensation or credit. Just want to pass the idea on. Please not flaming arrows if you prefer the months of planning in advance!! Thanks!!

Disney generally doesn't take unsolicited "ideas" and sends out letters requesting you don't. Best you could probably do is send a feedback email saying you don't like the system as is.

That is also true of many large companies. What some people try to do is bring frivolous lawsuits against companies claiming they stole their idea and/or used it without compensation. That is the main reason they don't accept unsolicited 'ideas'.

Part of the perk of staying onsite at Disney is you have a larger window to book FastPasses.

True - but in the past (when you got fastpasses in the parks) If you were headed to one park and the bus lines were really long - you could just change your mind and go to another park. Not so now! I mean you can change your mind. You just won't have the "good" rides to ride! LOL - I just liked the old system. A vacation is suppose to be a vacation! Just not crazy about how much planning is involved now. Thank you for your input.

A lot of people (meaning, us guests) understand your point and have made suggestions like this in the past. However, Disney has implemented this new system in place as they believe it helps them financially. They have data to help back this up. As such, unless your idea is going to make them even more money, it won't happen. And I firmly believe Disney has thought of all the ways they can make more money.
