Hi All,

I know that in the US they are now enforcing Fastpass return times, and just wondering if the same is happening at DLP? :confused3

For all i know they always HAVE enforced it there, i'm just checking.

Thanks! :cheer2:

From my experience as a frequent visitor the times have not been enforced in the past, although it wasn't as relaxed as in the US. You were usually allowed to still use the FP a couple of hours after the time window, but using a 10am one in the late afternoon or at night didn't work very often.

I don't have much recent experience but this week I successfully used a Peter Pan FP about 3 hours after the window expired - without any problem. This does not mean it will alway be like this.

I hope this helps.

I've always thought DLP were stricter than in the US but on saying that I have managed to use mine after they've expired.

I think a lot depends on how busy the actual ride is. We were about 5 minutes early for our fast pass at BTM a few weeks ago, and we were kept outside until the exact time. But, I think it was because BTM had broken down earlier, and the fp queue was absolutely huge with people coming up from earlier times they'd missed.

I haven't tried after the FP time though, but have seen people turned away. Again this is usually at BTM where they check your time thoroughly.

On the plus side - when using the DLH hotel fastpass, our dates weren't even looked at, so we managed to use some from days we'd missed before.

From this weeks visit, they were extremely strict (literally people trying 3 minutes early were told to wait at the side of the queue)...

Not sure what was happening when we went, but it seemed the BTM fastpass queue wasn't going down that well at all, we waited 20mins a fair few times in the fastpass queue.

I think that if the fastpass queue grow's to a +10 minute wait, that they should load 2 fastpass queue's for every 1 normal queue until it clears... it wouldn't take long!

Great tips - thanks so much!! :yay:

I'll definitely make sure we try to stick inside the windows to avoid any disappointment. :thumbsup2

Another who saw people being told to wait until their FP came into time or were refused because time had expired - saw this on BTM a few times and on PP.

We had VIP fastpasses 2.5 days out of the 5 and several times the fastpass queue wasn't open but when I showed the VIP fastpass they let us on anyway which was nice. At one point on PP the female CM said no, that we would have to queue as FP wasn't on - think they'd run out of them! (was about 15 mins queue), but then the male CM behind her, who was obviously a supervisor or something said yes, come on, no problem!, it was very kind of him.

They have always been very strict about people coming EARLY. And that's in all Disney Parks around the world.

The question was what happens if you try to use it after it expired. I think if it expired a short while ago you will usually get away with it, but f you're several hours late you may not be accommodated.
