Fastpass question

I'm sorry if this has been covered on this forum, but I normally don't check the Disneyland forum, just the WDW. My sister-in-law just got back from Disneyland, and she said they got unlimited fast passes through AAA. They did not have to wait until one expired to get another one, so they went and got Fastpasses to all the rides, and came back to each one when the time said to. Is this true? Is the fastpass system different at DL than it is at WDW, or is this a benefit of using AAA?

Thanks for any help!

This is called Enhanced Fastpass. It and the regular FP are discussed at length in:

In addition to the AAA reservation, you have to stay at a DLR hotel.

You do not have to wait for the first one to expire to get another one for a DIFFERENT ride. But you cannot get another one for the same ride until your first one expires.

This is available to you if you book through AAA and stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.

No, you can get another FP for the same ride after the old FP window opens OR two hours have passed, whichever is first.

I checked on the FP thing, and I was wrong, I was wrong! Got2Travel had it right. You cannot get a FP for the same ride until the one-hour window opens. However, you can get a FP for any other ride after two hours or the window on your last FP opened.
