I read this somewhere: the if you take your half your tickets and optain FP for them--take the other 2 tickets and obtain FP for these--then you can hold FP for 2 rides at the same time --and alll 4 can ride on the 2 FP times and then hop over to the other ride and do the same.............is this true? if thats the case--then wouldnt the FP lines actually take longer to get through? And what would be the point of getting 4 FP if they only take 1???

I don't think that's true. All the times we've used fastpass both my DH and I had to have our own fastpass ticket (meaning we had to us both annual passes to obtain a fastpass).

When we were there, the FastPass CM's made everyone show a FP for each person. We had four people, and we needed to show four FP's.

I'm not sure what you mean here.

You need to put your activated park pass into the FP machine to get a FP out, and then you need to show one FP for each person to the CM at the FP entrance when you return.

Hope that helps.

One fast pass per ride per person (each member of your party inserts his/her park ticket, so it says on the park map) I guess there are probably times when the CM is not looking so closely and you might think that you could sneak everyone through. I wouldn't try it, all the fast pass line I've been through there are at least two CM's checking passes, and they do check both the time and the quantity. Even if it was an honest mistake, I imagine the CM would send you to the stand-by line.

Good---I wasnt going to try this with my family (we set example for our kids)--but I was concerned w/ others doing this and still having a long wait at FP due to people jumping on others tickets. W/ 3 kids under age 7--its hard to say--not to much longer--and still be in line 30-60 min later because of this.

Don't worry, the CM's are pretty good at checking. If there are people doing or at least trying it, I didn't find it affecting fast pass wait times at all. I think Disney would stamp the practise out pretty quick if they thought people were abusing it.
