Fastpass Question

We're going to EPCOT today. We made our fastpasses weeks ago, but at the last minute invited our granddaughter to join us. I was able to get her fastpasses at the same time as ours for 2 of the attractions but not for Soarin'. Our fastpass is for 10:50. The closest time I've been able to get her a fastpass for is 1:15. If I go to guest relations will they be able to sync our fastpasses so we can ride together?

There is not availability, so if they do, it will be a strictly “Pixie dust” situation.

If it were me, I would keep trying for the earlier time. Refresh for 10 or 15 minutes straight.

Or change everyone to the later time if available...

I've been doing the refresh thing. The first fastpass I got started at 8:30 pm and I've refreshed it to 1:15. I'll keep doing that until we get there. If I'm still not able to get the time I need I'll stop by guest relations and pray for Pixie Dust. Thank you for your response.

I'd keep checking also. All kinds of times will pop up as people get up and decide to switch parks or not go or are running late and switch their FP to later. I have gotten 4th FP for 4-5 people to Soarin' many times. It will not be nearly as hard as, say, FEA.

But, if nothing closer comes up, I would just go to the CM at the FP scanner, explain the situation, and hope for the best. My son just went with his high school band, and they had this situation probably a half dozen times, and the CM always let them through, including two boys who had expired FoP FP because their bus had gotten to the park late. I personally have also had a CM at FoP allow my daughter and I to go in early with my husband and son. Our FP were for about a half an hour later than theirs. We were totally prepared to wait if she said no, but it was really nice to be able to go together.

If you are polite and aren't trying to scam extra FP out of the system, I think most CM will do their best to accommodate you.

So I went straight to Guest Relations inside EPCOT when we arrived and explained my dilemma to the CM. She took care of my granddaughter's fastpass so she could ride with us. We had a wonderful time.
