I'm feeling lost. Honestly, as many times as I've planned Disney trips you'd think I'd have this all figured out....but then here comes FP+ and it's like learning all over again!!

So...here's my question. I have resort reservations at ASMovies and 2 of our tickets are already linked to MDE(they are military tickets). We have 6 people in our party but the rest of us have to get regular tickets and we have to buy them a little along. Today is the 60 day mark. But it won't let me make FP+. It's giving me a window of 30 days. Why is that?? Am I incorrect that if you are a resort guest you can make your selections 60 days out??

Help, what am I doing wrong? :crazy2:

You say it is giving you a 30 day window but I just want to make sure you aren't thinking it is 2 months as it is a literal 60 days. It is now July 3rd, are you trying to book for Sep 3rd? If so that wouldn't work. What is the first day of the resort reservation?

That's exactly what I was thinking. If the first day of your reservation is Sept 3rd, your 60 day mark won't be until July 5th, because both July and August have 31 days.

yes i'm pretty sure thats what is happening to OP.
just by looking at OP's ticker i can see it says 2 months.
my FP+ window opened this morning for my trip on sept 1st and my ticker says 1 month 4 weeks and 1 day.

Also, from reading the original post, you will not be able to make FP+ reservations for those who do not yet have tickets. Must have a valid ticket linked to MDE in order to make FP+ reservation.

Yes, I do check in on the 3rd. So, that clears part of it up!

I edited this last part cause I think I figured out that I'm looking at it wrong. Going to go back and try again on Tuesday. Thanks for the help!

Yes, to the prior poster. I'm only attempting to make FP for the two I already have tix for. My son and I don't do thrill rides, so ours are a little easier to get, with the exception of Soarin. My dd and her bff ride the mountains, etc. so theirs need to be made ASAP.

1. You have to be exactly 60 days out (as opposed to 2 months out).

2. The window for your tickets will show as 30 days until you reach 60 days from the first day of your resort day. This is why its currently showing August. It only highlights what you're able to book FPs for right now. To oorow (July 3rd), the calendar will have July 3rd onward highlighted.

3. You can only book FPs for those guests you already have purchased and linked tickets for. So, if you have hotel reservation guests whose tickets aren't purchased yet, their FPs can't be made until after their tickets are purchased, even though they're on the resort reservation.

Thanks, this is where I was getting confused on #2 above. I thought the calendar would be grayed out until the 5th of Sept.

Yes, I am only trying to make FP for the ppl I've already bought tix for and linked their band to.

I am having the EXACT same issue! My calendar on the WDW page says I'm 60 days out and can book my FP on July 4th.....it's July 4th and I'm still not able to book them! Started just after midnight, and now again at 5am. It keeps saying that the tickets aren't linked now , but my reservation page shows that there are tickets for everyone in our party! We purchased a package and are staying on property.

I assume you have been able to book by now? A few weeks ago, the window opening time changed from midnight to 7 AM Eastern.

Sorry it had to cause you so much frustration!

LOL I was able to book after 6 AM central time, so YES it all worked out just fine :) I was unaware of the booking time change. Thank you!

I have a question about offsite/onsite. I am staying onsite for 1 night (not a throwaway rood - one doesn't throw away a room at the Yacht Club, lol). I booked specifically for Epcot, hoping to catch FEA one evening and Soarin one morning or vice versa, then park hop. I have 4 day hoppers. I know my window will open up at 7 am EST for the first 2 days. For the next 2, is it one day at a time at 60 days, or do I have to wait until my 30 days opens for the last 2? What if I plan to go Friday and Saturday to HS and EP, but not do AK and MK until later in the week?
