Fastpass question

In Fantasyland I understand that the earliest return time is 10 am. Can you get another Fastpass before 10 am to use at another attraction?

Every 2 hours. It will print at the bottom of your ticket the exact time you can get your next one.

The worst case time for getting another fastpass is about two hours after you got the last fastpass or after all fastpasses in your possession have matured (not expired), whichever comes first. When the park is not so busy you may be able to get another fastpass still sooner.

In general... you can get another fastpass after your return time or after 2 hours which ever is sooner...

Example 1: Get a fastpass at 10am with a return time of 11... you will be able to get a new fastpass after 11am

Example 2: Get a fastpass at 10am with a return time of 1pm... you can get another fastpass at 12pm.

Also a true fact I forgot to mention.

No, you can't prior to 10 am...other than Dumbo, Fantasyland should have very little wait times in the morning. I'd get a FastPass for one of the bigger attractions first before going to Fantasyland.

Thanks so much. This has really helped clarify how Fastpass works. I had a feeling I couldn't get another Fastpass before 10 am. Now that I know for sure we can plan acordingly. The reason I asked my question was that we are going with a group of 8, including 2 children ages 4 (almost 5) and 6. The girls have 9:10 reservations at CRT, and we were thinking of having the guys grab at least one set of FP's in Fantasyland while we were eating as they made their way through the attractions. Then, the girls would join up with the guys, we would all proceed with our touring plan, and then the girls would catch up on any Fantasyland rides we missed while the guys eat an early lunch. I thought having at least on FP might help us get through Fantasyland more efficiently.

I don't think everything posted here is correct.

Yes, you can get your first FP for some ride at 10 AM, and yes that is the earliest FP that is usually available (for the park opening at 9 AM). BUT, you CAN usually get another FP at 10:05 AM. The only time that it's two hours until you can get another FP is if the time window on the first one is MORE than two hours away. For example: You get a FP at 10 AM with a 2 PM to 3 PM window. You will be eligible to get another FP at 12 PM, even though you haven't used the first one.

The easy thing to do when you are in the park: the time at which you can get another FP is ALWAYS printed on the bottom of the FP.

In your example you have to get that first fastpass somewhat in advance of 10 AM. Unless the park is not really busy, the first fastpass has to come ready at 10 AM (or have been fetched prior to about 8 AM) in order for you to get another at 10:05.

I disagree. When we were at MK last, I got FP for Jungle Cruise at about 9:30 AM for the 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM window. I got Splash Mountain FP at 10:45 AM for 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and I got Space Mountain FP at about 11:35 AM for sometime later (don't remember the time) You do not have to wait 2 hours between getting FP, as long as the first FPs time window has started.

The way you describe is the OLD system. It was that way in 2000 last time I went (you could only get a FP every two hours), but not in 2006. I don't know exactly when they changed it, but they did. Perhaps it is a fairly recent change that you are not aware of?
