FastPass + Question Regarding Day Guests at Resort

Hi Everyone,

I know there is a dedicated thread to FP+ on this board, and I will check it out, but I thought that I'd pose this question out there in hopes that someone has run into this issue and can give me a quick response. Family and I are coming down over the holidays and we expect to have my daughter's friend who moved to Orlando stay with us for at least a couple of nights.

Her friend is an AP Passholder and thus she can't make FP+ ressies for specific days until 30 days out. We as resort guests can make those same ressies 60 days out. My question is this...if we add her MB to our room resort ressie (we're staying DVC in a 2 BR) would she then be able to coordinate her FPs at 60 days out along with us?

Any help from the community would be much appreciated.

Yes, check out the FP+ FAQ. You don't need to add her to your reservation, you can just "umbrella" her into your 60-day FP window. Look for the word 'umbrella' in the FAQ for more information.

You can't "add her MB."

What you need to do is link her MDE account to your MDE.

Then, when you book FPs, include her in your FP grouping and she shares your 60-day booking window.

She would have to be linked in your MDE and then she will be part of your party and able to book FP+ at the 60 day window.

She doesn't need to be listed on your room reservation.

Just link her MDE account to yours.

To link:
Add her name exactly as it is in her MDE to your MDE account and invite her to join by adding her email address. MDE sends the invite and she has to accept the invitation.

If she is 'staying with' you for a few days in your room, you need to add her to your reservation. If you do that, you can make her FP (or she can do so) at 60 days.
