Fastpass question at Animal Kingdom

Somewhere on the internet I read that AK was doing an experiment with a fastpass machine at one location where you could pick up FP for various rides, rather than having to visit each ride separately. This was quite a while ago but I can't remember where I read it and I am trying to determine if this machine is still there or if the idea was scrapped. Anyone have any info. about this? Thanks.

This idea was scrapped long ago. In fact the trial only lasted a very short time before it was stopped. Not sure why, perhaps a software problem, perhaps too much congestion... Point is, we're all back to getting our fastpasses at or near the individual attractions.
