Fastpass Planning Question (re: Same Day FP)

I recently saw a thread that discussed the fact that there is now more same day FP availability due to a change (which I don't recall details of) Disney recently made to eliminate some sort of loophole. So have people changed their FP strategy due to this? We are a rope drop/park hopper family and typically don't need FP first thing in the morning, so in the past I made FP reservations either late morning at the first park of the day or in the evening at the second park of the day. That said, if there is good same day FP availability then I may make FP reservations for the mornings and then hope to get same day FP at the evening parks since this will give us more flexibility about where we go in the evenings. I have to schedule our FP next week. Thoughts/experiences?

I see no reason to change strategies. Despite claims to the contrary, there is no reason to believe any increased availability (if there is any) is due to the closing of this particular loophole.
