My fastpass window opens up next Tuesday. Our trip is Sept.21-27. I will not
be needing an A & E fastpass, just the normal Space Mtn, Soarin and other popular rides. My question is do you think it necessary to wake up at 1 AM to book them or will I be safe to wait until the morning when I wake up at 6 to go to work?

We picked this time to go because crowd levels have been projected to be lower and I am hoping this to be the case this year.

2- will I be safe to wait until the morning when I wake up at 6 to go to work?

1- Nope.
2- Yup.

I am sorry for a repeat question. I just noticed a thread that posted at the same time as mine that answers most of my concerns. Please don't be mean to me LOL. :worried:

That's the 64,000,000,000.00 question. I had my FP+ night last night.....and I did stay up until 1am. A&E we're long gone......probably days before. All my other choice were available, even a Festival of Fantasy Parade FP and Two 7DMT passes in times that fit our plan. Overall all times we got, with some adjustment, met my criteria.........I have 2 days in MK......one day were there at rope drop the other we don't arrive to the afternoon......was able to work out the times for the morning day very easily......but this morning there wasn't much morning stuff left.

It really comes down to what you want to do...........No one has the crystal ball that can tell you how it will all flesh out. For me.........I'm really tired today...........HOWEVER........I'm glad I did it because I had timing issues I needed to deal with and I was able to get them done.

I did mine at 11pm CST. I thought they opened up at midnight EST, which makes it easier for the rest of the time zones.

I don't know about the other thread you mention, but the one linked to by the green link in my signature has answers to yours and other FP FAQs.

It depends. See the green link in my signature for more info.

I'm going in August-much busier than Sept. I had no problem getting A&E the next morning. However, I booked it for the last day of my 10 day trip. That could've helped. But I think you'll be fine.
