So, for example, if its Slinky Dog Dash and we’re there early and it says 15 mins, I can try & modify it to Millenium falcon? Or should I use it to get one of the 3 fast passes out of the way so I can get on to more fast passes once those 3 are used? If that makes sense lol
Depends on the circumstances, but more often than not I’d rather get my original 3 FPs scanned/done so I can move on to more productive refreshing later on.

1. Yes, you can try. The chances of that happening are very slim. And you will only see SDD that low if you are at the front of the rope drop crowd. In which case I would ride it twice. First standby, then FP.
2. That's my usual plan. I can usually get quite a few FP throughout the day once my first 3 are used.

We would ride it twice. If the standby truely is that short, we will go through standby, then repeat using FP.
In a tiered park, you want to use the 3 FPs as early as possible to get the option to get more Tier 1FPs.
Yes, you can absolutely try to modify it to something else. I would just ride it twice, though, then do standby in the evening for MFSR, when the line usually eases up a lot. Plus you miss a lot of the backstory in the queue of MFSR if you have a FP.
