Hi, I have a 5 day ticket and a MNSSHP ticket that I'm going to use in August. I'm not planning on using one of my five days for the early part of the day of the Halloween party, meaning that I will be visiting the parks 6 days. My question is this: can I plan Fastpasses for all six days, or just the five? A CM told me that the Halloween party ticket won't allow for Fastpass selection but I thought it would....? Thanks for any help on this - you guys are the ultimate source!

1. Yes.
2. Not surprising. Many CMs know little of operational procedures.
3. It will if the FPs are all booked to start and end during the period of time between 3:30 to 6:30pm on the day of your party.

Ah, the great Robo! Thanks for helping me... I actually booked FPs for four of my five days and then the Halloween party night (between 4 and 7 pm) and when I went to book the sixth day, the last for my 5 day ticket it said I didn't have enough ticketed days left. I hadn't bought my MNSSHP ticket yet (commitment issues) so I quickly remedied that and it still won't let me book the last day. To make it clear, this is our plan:

8/21 - MK (FP booked)
8/23 - Epcot (FP booked)
8/24 - AK (FP booked)
8/25 - MNSSHP (FP booked)
8/26 - HS (FP booked)
8/28 - MK (FP not allowed)

Bonus q: If I can't get the FP system to let me book on 8/28, should I let go of the 8/25 MNSSHP ones? Lines are supposed to be pretty tolerable and we might end up ditching ride plans anyway to meet some characters.

-Thank you for your help!!-

Some people on the MNSSHP thread have reporting needing to book all their regular day FastPasses first and then booking the party day last. I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's working for them.

CM was wrong.
You can.
You'll want to make them for 3:30pm-4:30pm, 4:30pm-5:30pm, and 5:30pm-6:30pm as the cut off is 6:30pm.

I'll be in this situation in a few weeks, so I want to be sure I understand exactly how this works....
To fix yours- did your cancel the fastpasses on your party day- then book the non party day that you couldn't previously book- then go back an rebook the fastpasses on your party day?

We'll have 5 day tickets (which I haven't purchased yet) and 1 party day ticket for October 12th. What's our method of doing fastpasses to be sure I get them for all 6 days? Thanks so much everyone!

Yes, exactly what has been reported on the MNSSHP thread. You have to make the FPs for your non-party days *first* and then make the one for your MNSSHP day. This worked for me. I have 5-day tickets, and 1 MNSSHP ticket for our arrival day, and I was able to make 6 days of FP+.

I think the OP had not yet tried booking Fastpasses when she posted, but rather was looking for advice.

Once she got the advice, it seems she then went and made all the FP selections without issue. Nothing needed fixing.

I was thinking she had booked 5 days already ( one of which was her party day) and then she wasn't able to book a sixth day. Maybe I misunderstood :flower1:

Didn't do it intentionally, but that is what I did. I booked 6 days of FP and then bought my party ticket while I was doing "Disney things". Was only able to book 2 FP on the party day though. Nothing available between 3:30-3:50 for the attractions I check or after about 5:15 pm.

(DD doesn't do lines for characters except for her extra special favorites, so I anticipate doing quite a few rides during the party - she has a knack for spotting usually-secondary characters as they head for their meet-and-greet locations and walking over with them - including Rapunzel while we were on the way to the bathroom in Epcot, we don't even know where she was going since she has no assigned Epcot location, but we got a great improptu meet-and-greet with her. However, I'm betting that doesn't work out much during the party. Not worried one way or another. We'll run around and have fun doing something with no pressure to meet everyone).

Yes, I canceled the party day FPs and selected the passes for my second MK day (day #5 on my 5-day ticket). After doing that, I swooped in and grabbed my Fri MNSSHP fastpasses back. :) Score!

Good luck! :)
