So book 7 days of advance FP+.
Use the first day, you can add another FP+ day to your list.
Repeat, ad infinitum (as far as we know, that is.)
At this time, the above applies to those who have an AP
and have already had at least one stay at an on-site WDW resort
using FP+.
After that initial stay, AP's do not require an additional on-site stay
to book the "7 days at a time" rolling FP+ reservations.
UHG! Really? Can you define "at a time"? Staying 6 nights at BCV then 2 nights at WL...including arrival and departure that is 9 days. I assume that still counts a 1 trip?
I guess it is my fault since I did not explicitly ask but I would have thought that this might have been mentioned when I purchased our AP 2 days ago.

Sorry! It was only 8 days. I wouldn't worry. I had no problems booking my additional FP+ reservations once my extra days opened up. You can also book your more *important* days first. The 7-8 days does not need to be consecutive.
Actually, I was having trouble booking for this trip but it seems to be fixed after a quick chat with tech support. Booked for 7 days (non-consecutive) and then had a message for my husband and myself (but not my 2 kids) that we had reached our "limit".
