Fastpass+ Grace Period Experiences

What are recent experiences with the grace period of 5 minutes before the FP+ stated time and 15 minutes past the stated time?

Still consistent. We've been five minutes early and almost fifteen minutes late on a few rides this week.

We were there in June and very few CM's let us through prior to the actual fp time...

For some reason, I think it is 4 minutes early, not 5.

I believe CM's are instructed to say you can't arrive before your FP+ window
ie in July at Splash, I arrived 7 minutes early, they told me to return in 7 minutes, even though they let eventually let me in after I waited 3 minutes and was still "early"

I know we were 5 minutes early on Star Tours and BTMRR last week and got on. I was very surprised.

I think it depends on the CM. We arrived early for our ADR for Be Our Guest and had to wait outside until the exact moment. On the other hand we have arrived up to 15 minutes early for 7 Dwarfs and the CM has over-ridden the system each time and let us in. I am thinking we were lucky though.

We just left and saw quite a bit of variation; I am assuming there is CM discretion. At Peter Pan, we were returning to MK during a terrible rainstorm that tied up transportation (there is a tropical storm front moving in) so we were almost 20 minutes late (maybe 17?). They did not let us in on the FP despite the extenuating circumstances but we had an "open" FP to use at nearly any attraction with no time restriction so we just used that. I also saw people turned away for being less than 10 minutes late (I remember Space Mountain and maybe Everest)? Think it depends who you get. My sister was told that she was almost 5 minutes early was told to wait. I think that was for Buzz in MK.

We routinely used ours five minutes before the time started. Didn't even say anything to the CMs, just scanned the MagicBand and it worked! No issues at all.

I really hope that we get a nice CM for our A&E FP+. I have six FP+, two of which end at 1:10, three of which overlap completely at 1:10 and one that starts at 1:10. I also have a 7th that starts at 1:20. I am hoping that at least the 6 of us can get in together even if we cannot make it right at 1:10 (1:11? 1:12?).

We were 5 minutes early for almost every FP+ earlier this month. No problems at all, the Mickey turned green, not a peep from any CM about being early.

For showing up 5 min early, you don't have to ask a CM. You scan and it turns green.

The only time I tried to scan more than 5 min early was at ToT by accident. I was like 8 min early. They looked at the screen and told me to wait 3 min.
