So we wait with bated breath for the 60-day window to open in order to start making FP+ selections. Family members gather around the screen and chatter excitedly over which attractions to select. We check off the boxes, hit "Next" and "Done" and...

suddenly the times don't match what we've entered. They have us with a window of 8:00-9:00am for Test Track when the park doesn't open until 9am. What?!

We go back, try and adjust the times, but to no avail. Different screens show conflicting information. Attempts to change the attraction time to match the park opening are unsuccessful. What we looked forward to as a fun family event has left us frustrated and dejected. We close the app and resume normal activity.

Anyone have any insight on this? At this point, we're not looking forward to entering our choices for the remaining days of our Disney vacation. Blehh. :(

Did you completely cancel Test Track? Or cancel all the rides for that day? And then go back and try again? Maybe that would help.

If it doesn't help try to schedule your fp's for the next day and see if there are any glitches. If there are, try calling Tech support. Sorry, I don't have the number.

Good luck. I know it can be frustrating. :goodvibes

Be careful with totally cancelling something. We are here now, and made a last minute change of park plans. I cancelled our EP picks to make them for MK and it wouldn't let me. It said I'd already used my allotment for the day. I had to go to concierge and they overrode it and made the changes for me.

There's an issue with the app. Online my times are what I've entered them as, but on the app everything (including adrs) is 1hr earlier than I've booked. I called yesterday and the person I spoke to had no clue why this would be, but assured me that my times in the system were the correct ones. Try looking at your times online instead of through the app

Until all of this FP+ mess sorts itself out it will be DLR for us - I just have no intention of stressing and planning a vacation that far out - sorry, it just sounds like a giant hassle.

I hope you get this sorted out and have a great vacation.

I tried to change 1 FP the other day and had the troubles you are speaking of. I called IT. They said don't look to your reservations and your plans to see if the times are correct if you are having troubles. She said if you go into FP+ and act like you are going to make a change the FP+ that are ACTUALLY selected to your account will show up at that time. If they aren't what you want then you can change them 1 by 1 on the FP+ screen. If you want to make sure they are right when you are done go back into FP+ like you are going to make a change even though you aren't and they should show up correctly. If not call Disney IT- I got a wonderfully sweet CM who helped me out and got exactly what I wanted. The reservations and plans screens don't update as quickly as they should and that's why they often show inaccurately. I went back and checked my reservations the next day and it had updated with the correct FP+ selections like it showed on FP+ the night before. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your suggestions! They were much more helpful than the Disney agent who answered my phone call about this stupid Fastpass+ system and the malfunctioning app. He was pretty snarky at the beginning of the conversation and sounded frustrated with me, even asking me at one point if I had tried to fix the FP times myself. When I replied that YES, I certainly had, and that the whole experience was completely frustrating and not the least bit "magical", he attempted to sound supportive and helped me change the FP times for our stay.

I can understand that Disney is probably being inundated with people encountering difficulty with the FP+ reservations and MDE app, but when I'm shelling out as much hard-earned money as I am for this vacation, they should be bending over backwards to ensure my satisfaction. Instead of relaxing on my Sunday evening, I had to spend an hour of it on hold listening to out-of-tune Beauty and the Beast music, followed by Mr. How-can-I-help-you-even-though-I-hate-my-job-and-don't-give-a-$!@#.

<sigh> I think this is our last WDW trip.
