Fastpass for electrical parade...all gone...

so, when our FP day came available 60 days out, I was on at midnight to book. The one day that fit in our plans was a Saturday in Nov. There is only one EP that day and all FP were gone for that night. Should I see this as a sign that it's going to be PACKED? Or do most people snag a FP for EP if they can? I am just getting worried that it is going to be sooo crowded when we go! Some of us don't do well with tight crowds, though we will manage....just hoping for the lower crowds I guess!

2nd question....is there any chance at all that some FP for EP that night could pop up? Do people ever let go of them? Not sure if I should keep checking or wait till 45 days out ect.....

From what I've been reading, the crowds won't be bad. However, due to free dining being offered, a higher percentage of those guests will be on-site guests, meaning more people have the ability to pluck fast passes at 60 days versus 30.

In regard to your second question, keep checking. I've been able to snag parade fastpasses after the 60-day mark (and probably within 30), but only have checking a bazillion jillion times. Also helps if you search for smaller numbers. I had a party of five last time and was only able to get two fastpasses for Anna and Elsa, but since we only had one kid among the five, that was fine.

I checked for both MK parades at the 60 day mark and was unable to get that either. (We are going 10/31 - 11/7). A few days later, I was able to snag one for both on 2 different days. Keep checking! Things open up. Fastpass availability for parades I believe are slim because they only allow so many people in that designated area.

Remember too this is party season, there are limited days the parade and wishes are going so that makes getting fast passes even more difficult. Keep checking though, especially since people have to make finally payment on their trips in a couple weeks. Good luck!

Make sure you're not checking on a party night.

And FP's for MSEP being gone are the norm. It's one of the harder to get MK FP's. We book 30 days out and I don't think I've ever seen it available. So don't plan on it popping up as a same day FP. It would be like A&E or 7DMT becoming available.

Only thing you can do if you're indeed not looking on a party night would be to just keep checking back and see if people cancel their FP's

Just go over by Liberty Tree Tavern - Liberty Square area. You really don't need a FP+ for MSEP. Lots of great viewing over there. IMHO, a waste of a FP+.

Check to see if its a party night- and if its not I would keep checking. From what I am reading the place for the parade is changing in November and they probably have no idea what amount to limit the FP at. For now-- I see wishes and MSEP FP eevry morning available

We had a wishes fast pass and went in 90 minutes early. We stood along the fence and had a pretty decent view of the parade. Not the best but my 9 year old who always wants front row didn't even complain.

We were there last week. We had FP+ one night for MSEP and one night for Wishes. The Wishes was worth it but not the MSEP. I would not FP+ that again. People still lined up an hour early. Well, if I wanted to line up an hour early, then I don't really need FP+. There were spots right across the street that had just as good of viewing (maybe better) that were available still after we had been lined up for 20-30 mins. We just wanted to try those FP+ since we were there without our 4 kiddos so we would know what to go for when we go back next trip. I won't do that one again.

We were there in June and the crowd calendar said MK was an 8. We simply found a spot about 20 min before it started and that was it. Not even sure why you'd want to waste a fp on it. Don't worry, you'll get a good spot.

I did a last minute mother's day trip with my daughter. By last minute, I mean I booked the hotel on Tuesday to get there Friday and bought tickets on Wednesday. I got us a fp for the parade. I could have also gotten mine train, but I only looked one time.
