Fastpass+ for Dining...its coming

Just received invite for Fastpass+ reservation test for Be Our Guest lunch during our June trip, received half hour FP window and ordered food ahead of time for all in our party. Seemed easy and accepted dining plan. Happy to see it as we were going to skip because we heard the wait for lunch is painfully long.

They have already been doing a FP for BOG lunch for some time if your staying on disney property.

In all the original documents about FP+, there had been talk of being able to use FP at quick service locations... It is coming at more than BOG.

That sounds like a pretty interesting concept. I wonder if this is somehow going to increase the price even more now. Because the more benefits that you provide, the higher you can make the actual price. We will see, but it does sound like a great benefit if it comes at about the same price.

What can explain the ~70% price increase on park admission tickets and ~115% increase on room rack rates since the early 2000's, much of which came during the "Great Recession"? Disney doesn't need a (insert "valid") reason to justify a price increase. They have proven that time and time again over the past decade, and we still follow the Pied Piper. You can count on annual price increases from The Mouse regardless of what features and bennies they throw our way.

We got the email during our trip, when we were there two weeks ago. We didn't end up using it, because it didn't fit in with our plans for the remaining days of our trip. We would have though - seemed like a neat concept. It allowed you to order your food in advance.

We used it for BOG in December. It worked great. We didn't order our food ahead, we just reserved a time slot. I would never try to guess what my family will be hungry for weeks beforehand, but knowing that we didn't have to stand on the bridge for three lifetimes, loved it! We almost always avoid the chaos that ensues at qs spots like Pecos Bill, but if we had a fp, I'd give it another chance.
