fastpass for Character meet & greet

So my brother booked fastpasses for his upcoming trip, but he booked his 3 separately and his wife booked all character ones (she is pregnant and won't be going on the rides), but they have a 4 year old, they only have 1 FP for Characters, what are the chances that they would let her use her FP for lets say Mickey and let the 4 year old go with her with no fast pass?

Each person over 3 entering the FP line for a character meet needs a FP for it.

oh I know that, I tried telling them, but they are banking on her being very pregnant (she will be about 36-weeks) and with a 4 year old that they won't let him go by himself.

Really not cool to knowingly put a CM in such an awkward position.
