We are a family of 5 heading to Disney in May. Do you think it will be hard to get fast passes for a party of five? Also if I do get fast passes is it possible for other family members to modify their fast passes?

Thank you

We are a family of 5. It's a little harder to get FPs for 5 than 2 but it's not bad. Be online first thing when your window opens and put your HS and AK later in your trip if you want Slinky or FOP. You can also break the party into 3 and 2 and search that way.

If the people you make FPs for have their own account that is linked or you're willing to give them your password they can change them.

We only have 2 days to do 4 parks. Planning on rope drop for FOP and EMM for MK if dates open. Our family of 5 consists of myself, DD 26 DD 23 and her husband. DD 26 has her own MDE account. I have everyone listed under my account

Are you staying on site? How long is your trip? Do you have park hoppers? All these factors impact your ability to get "what you want". Give us more specifics and we can provide targeted suggestions to improve your chances of getting what you want.

We are staying onsite at POP May 12 through 15th but only doing the parks on the 13 and 14th. We do have park hopper passes and I would do EMM if available.

Great..............now tell us which parks you will visit on your 2 days..........including a.m./p.m. sequence.

Monday AK (EMH) rope drop/HS afternoon/night
Tuesday MK (EMM if offered) most of day/EPCOT later afternoon through evening take advantage of EMH. Also we are willing to do single rider lines.

Here are my thoughts.............
Do AK freestyle and book for FPs for DHS (I am assuming you want to ride Slinky Dog)
If you do EMM.........do MK Freestyle and book your FPs for EPCOT

If no EMM, you have to figure out which park is your priority for FPs

Ages of guests and "your favorites" are clearly factors you are considering.

I will say that by booking your "party of 5" fastpasses in the afternoon, you should be able to get almost all of what you want.

Good luck and I hope your trip goes well.

Thank you. Final question. Would you recommend not get fast passes for the few rides that offer single rider lines?

There is no reason to do single rider or "save" your FP+ for later. We're a family of 5...and we even stay offsite with APs so we're very limited in FP+ selection in advance.

On Monday, use your FP+ in AK for the things you really want. FoP, etc... You will have very little trouble getting additional FP+ for most things in HS. The hard ones would be the stuff in TSL. However, even if you can't get SDD or TSMM, the lines drop significantly at the end of the night. TSMM is literally a walk on, and SDD line is short. The only wrinkle I could see would be if you wanted to see Fantasmic. Then you'd have to make a choice, potentially (you may still be able to get FP+ for SDD or TSMM)

Tuesday is a breeze. Use FP+ all the way at MK. If you're going to Epcot in the evening you can get pretty much anything. TT is the hardest to get, but even that isn't super hard. Soarin' is a walk on late at night and FEA line is short too. No need for single rider at TT.

Thank you so much for the great advice. Our family saw Fantasmic last year at DL. Our older daughter lives in CA so we got a chance to do the parks out there so it’s not a high priority for us. Definitely want to do FOP and SDD.
