Fastpass+ / DIY booking

Hello! I have not been to WDW since 2009 so am a bit out of the loop with the fastpass+ and my Disney experience changes.

I'm looking for Sept this year. At the moment the cheapest option is an onsite hotel via expedia then tickets from Disney UK site.

If I book separate can I link my expedia reservation and tickets via my Disney experience? Will I get magic bands?

Yes - Expedia will give your Disney reservation number a couple of days after you booked.

Once linked this will give you your MagicBands.

You will be able to book FP+ at 60 days as long as you have linked both resort and tickets
