I have a source currently at the Disneyland Resort (@dina444444) saying that Fastpass distribution (Maxpass and paper) is down and it has been down since 3 p.m. Pacific Time. There is no word if it will be up later today or not.

If people already have a fastpass, it is still redeemable.

If you are using MaxPass, you can only obtain a fastpass if someone cancels a fastpass that they are holding.

*I will update this post if I hear any updates.*

UPDATE (6 p.m. PT):
Maxpass seems to be available again. Paper is still down.

Max pass appears to be back online now, but paper might still be down. I was able to book a Monsters After Dark maxpass fp that I don’t think was a cancellation one and the fp machines were still covered over at the ride.

Crazy! City Hall is going to have a long line at the end of the day!

Oh. I'm here and I just thought all the FPs were gone! :confused3

Side note: as always, coming a bit before rope drop is the best life plan ever. We did a bazillion things between 8-12 and barely anything since because CROWDS. Maxpass worked very well (before it went down, apparently), as we got FPs for HMH, SM:GG, Star Tours, Splash, RSR, GOTG (these must have been a cancellation), Screamin' (broke down so used ME for Soarin'), Matterhorn (broke down and hoping to use later), and something else I'm forgetting.

We also rode Indiana Jones and BTMR as walk-ons this morning, or else they would have been "immediate" options a few times.

I'm not even mad it broke since I don't even know what else we would have pulled, but I'm curious if they'll do something to compensate people?

We were going to stop by City Hall and ask about it because it was such a mess after 3pm. That was right when we hopped over to CA and I attempted to get the GoG FP (like everyone else) and my Maxpass never worked for CA. I wasn't able to obtain a single FP from there, even through the app (from the park map where the wait time shows) would show FP was available. But if I started in the MaxPass part of the app, it showed no available FP for either park.

A little later, I looked up wait times for Disneyland and selected FP, it would let me book one from there (even though no FP ever showed available again if you started in Maxpass area). We did notice that even though it let us book one for BTMRR and Then Indy, the machines were still shut down. Overall, it was a huge disappointment for our first experience using MaxPass. I was going to stop by City Hall, but I was worried that if I did get a refund, I would lose the two remaining FP that we were holding (one being HMH).

It was a just a really strange, "off" night for DL.
Areas of Pirates were not lit up or working (ex. it was dark in the scene where the pirates are drinking wine).
The boulder was still resetting when we got to that area of Indy, so the timing was off.
HMH kept stopping during the ride (not due to slowing or stopping for handicapped assistance - we watched them have to manually reset it twice while standing in the loading area).

So we were wondering if there were other issues in that area of the park also.

I opened the app today and had a message pop up saying that all the services should be properly restored by now. Not sure if it was something on our side or after shocks from Irma in Florida, considering that they had sent out a warning regarding Photopass being slow earlier this month.
