OK.. A little confused. I have a separate room reservation and a separate AP. Both are in MDE.

I just wanted to see exactly what day I can start making my FPs (per my Disney room ressie)....but it is ONLY showing me 30 days out. Not the sixty. My ressie starts the second week of April, so I just assumed that the calendar would show me the date I can start....but it is only showing that I can make reservations from now until March 5 (today is Feb 5)....so I guess it was basing it on my AP.

My room ressie starts April 15....will I ONLY be able to see that on February 15th? In other words....I'm a little confused as February doesn't have 30 days nor 31 days. So I'm trying to figure out the exact date I can start making my ressies.

Hope I explained this properly?

i like that link. i usually use my D point app but when on the computer it's a lot easier. Thanks for that link!

With AP you can always book 30 days out. Actually with any ticket media on your account you can see 30 days out. Only see 60 once the window opens as bpadair32 states. I use Excel to calculate my 60 days. First day -60 format results to give you a date output and there you go. So May 18 (first day of our next trip) minus 60 equates to March 19. Count is 60 days and ignores months.

The Disney site also shows what date 60 days is rather than using a different program.

Ok, having a moment. I normally trust Siri for these things but coming up a day off of the above. A random sampling of sources:

Google says 2/14
Siri says 2/14

WDWMagic Calculator says 2/13
Several other online calculators say 2/14

Darn it, might actually have to get a calendar out and count!

My mental math is 14 in April, 31 in March, that gets us to 44, leaving 16 calendar days in February, which I think is the 13th.

It’s 2/14.

It has to be calculated as 15 days in April, 31 March, 14 in February = 2/14 as FP day.

I can never remember if you include the first date of stay or not.

If you are referring to counting backwards using days on the calendar, you don't include the first day of your trip as that would be day zero. The day before the trip starts would represent 1 day before. Day 60 is 60 days before the trip.

But if you are using a calculator (Excel or program) then you would enter the first date of the trip as the program would do the math. Not sure why wdwmagic is incorrect.

Your MDE account will tell you when you can book fast passes with a room reservation. The calendar always only shows 30 days out with an AP unless you have a room reservation in the 60 day window.

All you do is count 60 days back from your check in date.
February 14th is your 60 day mark.
When your window opens you'll see.

Thanks all. The problem is.......I can't get to that on my MDE. (the official WDW FP countdown)...... Now, I have three future reservations....two in April which I am going to try and combine, and one in September. But that is NOT coming up on my MDE.
