Fastest Way to Dial Through for PS Ressies

Hi all - I'm so rusty at this What is the fastest way to call through the WDW-DINE # to get a CM on the phone to make your ressies? Any tips? Thanks!

Look at the top of the restaurant forum under Cinderella's Advice and Encourage. It provides instructions on how to get through fast.

i use the 1 and 1 method,

when you hear welcome to disney dining press 1 straight away bypassing the list of options to press
when the voice starts on the next lot of options press 1 again
then you should be in the q

I manage a very big call center....you may not like the prompts, but they do serve a function.

you only make it worse when you just blindly press buttons.

listen, and respond...the "PROMPT" you for an answer

it the best way to get you to the person who can help you the most

Normally, I would agree with you -I've also managed several very large call centers.

That said, these folks are not just blindly pressing buttons. The 1 followed by another 1 prompt does get you to the right place. There is no need to listen to the entire message describing all the choices before pushing your selection. If you wait until the end of each message, you will end up farther back in the queue.

I used the 1/1 method last month and had no problems. I got every PS I wanted.

Another big key is to start calling at 5 minutes before the hour. There are two reasons for this:

1. Your clock might be slow.
2. They normally open 2-3 minutes before the hour.
