I know the buses go from Kidani to Jambo but what is the fastest way to get back to Jambo? How long of a walk is it? Do they have any transportation back to Kidani?

thanks!

There's a van that shuttles guests back and forth between Jambo and Kidani. Anyone out front should be able to get you on that van. Also, the Downtown Disney bus stops at Jambo and then Kidani, so you could hop on that bus if it was convenient. All the other buses stop at Kidani first. I don't think walking would be a good idea.

Several ways to get to Kidani Village from Jambo House:
Bell Services runs a van between both buildings.
You can hop on the Downtown Disney bus as that stops at Jambo House first.
The walk is about 10 - 15 minutes depending on starting/ending points.

Why not a good idea to walk? I found it pleasant in a cooler month - took maybe 10 minutes from lobby to lobby.

I'd probably look for a ride if it was summer months.

Just to qualify, I don't run marathons, I'm constantly trying to lose weight and I'll never see 60 again :rotfl2:.

That's cool. I wasn't sure how long the walk was. I'm have no problem with long walks. Just didn't wanted to get lost or anything lol. I'm sure it's pretty hard to do but I don't always have the best sense of direction and I'll be solo this trip.

The walk is not bad at all. I would recommend doing it the first time during daylight so you can see the signs better. Dh and I love the walk and always choose it over busing or taking the van.

Depending on where you start, it's not that bad of a walk and it's a formal sidewalk designed for this purpose.

The walk is OK

Unfortunately, Jambo wasn't designed to eventually add Kidani. So the walk does have to go by the Jambo service area and CM parking.

In an ideal world, you'd swap the Jambo bus stop with those service areas and wind up with a nicer walk and much shorter bus travel times between the resort's.

We found the shuttle very quick and easy. It goes one port cochere to the other so you don't even get wet if it's raining.

As I've said before, I think a skybridge, underground tunnel or some type of small subway could have been installed at development that would have made this much better. However, my reference was to a post that suggested there was a problem with walking over and that is not the case.

We walk too. It's a nice walk and about 10 minutes. :thumbsup2 The resort is just gorgeous so it's not a heartache.

The walk is no worse if not shorter than the walk from BLT to the MK bag check. We've only done it once, but didn't find it terrible.
