Fast question for the old timer dis members

I know I joined the Dis back in 1998. Did they start everyone over and have a start date as 2000? Not that it matters just wondering.

Yes. I joined the DIS in 1999 when my family planned a cruise in 2001. There was a board crash or something of that nature; and everybody got reset. My start date is October 31 2000 but I joined about a year before that.

Yes. I've been here since 98. I think you can manually change your date. It seems like there were 2 crashes/migrations if memory serves. One was quite early on.

I moved this over to the Community Board.

We lost some really good threads during that crash, including, what was the weirdest/funniest thing you saw at WDW. That thread had me in tears, I was laughing so much.
