Fast passes during emh?

I was wondering if they issue fast passes durning emh? We are going to attend one emh eve on our trip in Oct. This is the first day at Disney and we will not be getting there until later in the day. I have read that emh can be pretty busy. Any info on this is appreciated. TIA!

Yes..........the Fast Pass machines are shut down as the park closing time approaches (or if they run out as they do for Test Track and Soarin' most early afternoons). They reopen the FP machines at the start of the evening EMH. The crowds this summer for the evening EMH have been VERY large. We did the EMH at the Disney Studios one night and were only able to ride Tower of Terror once using FP. The wait times for everything were crazy so we left. Grab FP right away for anything you really want to ride.
