Fast Pass with 2 parks

During Thanksgiving week there is a morning EMH at Epcot which we will attend. I am not going to book any fast passes for Epcot because we plan to hop to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon and I would like to use our 3 fast passes there. Will there be any problem with this plan? Just wondering since we will be at Epcot first that it will not expect us to make our first 3 fast pass selection in the first park we attend for that day. I realize I can make 3 at Epcot and then once they are used or timed out we can hop to AK and pick up same day fast passes there. But we would like to use all 3 in the afternoon at AK.

I assume the answer is yes but wanted to double check.

Yes, you can make your FP's for your 2nd park if you don't want to use any in the first park.

Not only can you, but that's by far the best way to do it for those 2 parks since the tiering at Epcot to me make it hard to justify using them there. Between EMH and the first hour after opening you can probably get on at least 2 of the Tier 1s and a few other things before hopping to AK where line will be long for the popular rides. We almost always have a day exactly like this every trip - rope drop Epcot and hop to other park with FP (it used to be DHS but with the tier changes will likely now be MK or AK).

There is another day that week when there is a morning EMH at Magic Kingdom. We are planning to book 3 fast passes at Magic Kingdom for the morning and then hop to HS for the afternoon. I’m hoping that I can book a same day fast pass at HS for a tier 1 ride for the 6 of us after we use the 3 at MK. I’m not sure if this is the best plan but since we can only get 1 tier 1 fast pass at a time at HS, it didn’t seem worth giving up getting 3 with no tiers at MK. We will probably be standing in some long lines at HS that afternoon.
