Fast Pass Waits?

We don't use Fastpass too much...we try to go when it's not crowded...Anyway, I was wondering, when you have a fast pass(and return at teh proper time) do you generall just "walk right on" or is there still a wait time involved.

I think it varies with the attraction. We have walked right on to Buzz, but stood in lines for Test Track with a FP. Just depends on the ride I guess. Of course the "regular" line for TT was over an hour, so waiting in line for FP was still not a big deal. I would much rather wait for 20 or 30 minutes instead of 90.

Same thing for Safari at AK - I was spoiled at the other parks, when we returned for FP the wait was usually less than 5 minutes, but for Safari, there was a line waiting for the opening of the FP lane (ex, my FP return time was 10:35) we wandered, and came back at 10:30 and in front of the FP entrance was a line of maybe 20 - 30 people So we got in line, when they let us in at 10:35 we did get in a shorter line than standby, but, there was a line inside too, I think it was a 30 minute wait..

That's been my experience as well. Here's a tip: If you really want to ride something like Space Mountain, get a FP and wait in the regular line. That way you can go twice w/o having to wait very long. I do that on Space Mountain all the time.
