Fast Pass truth

There's usually always a sign that tells you what times the FP return window currently being spit out by the machines is. So make sure you look at those times before grabbing the passes. If you know you can't return in that hour time then don't grab them so that other people can use them

Yes, the old days of "our Disney" are over. Those off season visits it was like we ruled the parks with those all day fast passes! In fact it was probably a large part of our Disney obsession snowballing because every visit we could just get so much in during a day. Nowadays I try to remind myself we go all the time, take it easy. I don't have to do it all 3 times a day. See show or grab a treat and just relax. And yes, pulling ones you can't even use is maddening. And while I'm at it I just throw it out there that I do not want WDW's system. I don't want to have to plan my days 6 months ahead. Half the fun is the spontaneity.

The problem is you pull them with good intentions and then you get stuck in a longer line on another ride, across he park, in a show, whatever and the schedule just doesn't always work out for you. We try to give away and share fast passes we can't use.

Ya that's alwys understandable. I was talking about when you know you have something else like a dinner reservation :)

The problem comes when your FPs come up at a time when you have to be somewhere else! Boy, I really miss the days when the FPs were valid all day after their opening window time. Last week I pulled several that I couldn't use because of meal reservations or shows.
NM. I see there are already responses to this.
