Are Fast passes still included with your tickets price? Someone told my DH that they were at WDW in June and they had to pay additonal charges for the fast pass.???? Has anyone heard anything like this?

No - someone was misinformed. Everyone is still equal with availability of fastpasses for normal tickets

you mean Universal isn't part of Disney. No wonder I didnt see anyone giving out YOAMD prizes :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hm interesting scam, stand by the fast pass and tell people there is a charge for them and you are collecting the fee, take their ticket for them and run through machine.

Yeah I can just see that happening. [unfortunately] pirate:

Say, Mickiethepooh.

Why do the PotC pictures in your siggy have an Oct. 2004 date-stamp on them?

Was there an appearance of character look-alikes from the film at the park in 2004?

maybe they confused disney with universal. fastpasses at disney are still free.

You're probably right. They were more than likely confusing Disney with another park.

Nope there sure was not. That was My sons in the costumes I made They went with me to Disney to Model them for me. It was at one of the Not so scary Halloween nights when you can dress in costume and THEN, since they had no Jack Sparrow we were able to get in with what EVERYONE agreed was a very good costume.
We had such fun, we were stopped at least 50 times that night for pictures, we had many cast members taking pictures as well even had one of the characters in a parade that night spy my "Capt Jack on the sidelines and give him a thumbs up.

When we went on the Columbia at Liberty square, my son turned to the people in line and said, " I will be taking over the Ship" which brought rounds of applause.

Unfortunately we can't do it again now that they have their own Jack in the Park.

Anyway I figured at least here they would be appreciated LOL. pirate:

Bye the way can anyone tell me if the Land still has fast pass? it is a major nightmare for someone in a wheelchair or scooter, since it is SO hard to get down there to get it and then have to get out again till time then back in again etc. They have made me use fast pass so that I did not "get ahead of anyone" even when I preferred to wait in the regular line, because the land uses a separate line for Wheelchair guests.
This is one of my favorite rides and one of the worst to get to because of this policy.

Soarin' still (of course) uses FP.

The FP kiosks at Living with the Land Boat Ride are sometimes covered and not needed.

FP will be used (at least for now) for the attraction on an as-needed basis.

When we were there in October, there was a very short wait in the regular line, so they let us go right into the Fastpass line (which is the wheelchair accessible line there). When we have not actually had Fastpasses for that ride, the CM usually handwrites a return time on a Fastpass that is approximately equal to the wait time for the regular line. If we were in the regular line, we would have waited that long anyway, but at least we avoid having to negotiate the winding of the regular line.

I assume you are talking about Soarin'. There's another thread going that says the same thing. I complained about having the force your way through the crowds at the Land just to see if (1) there were still Fast Passes available and (2) if the return time was going to work into your schedule. Lots and lots of people agreed. We hard a hard time doing it on two feet, I cannot imagine it for someone in a scooter or wheelchair.

The Living with the Land ride has FP machines, but they were not being used when we were there on Saturday. I thought the park was crowded, but this ride was a walk-on. Soarin' on the other hand.....

Yes I know about the writing the time on the fast pass part the point is that in that particular ride as opposed to all the others I can think of it is really a pain to get your chair down to it in the first place. so for them to give you ar fast pass return time, it is not, as with other rides a time to go off and do something else and come back, it is go sit in a corner till the fast pass time comes up.
They really need something better for that particular ride.

and it is the LAND not Soarin that I was referring to for the person who posted about that one.
I was hoping they had done away with the fast pass for the Land thats all. pirate:
