I have done a search but keep finding different answers. I heard things have changed in February and things are much more strict now

If you have 2 adults and 3 kids ages 7, 5, and 2

Can the adults have fast passes for different rides so the baby can be on something else while waiting for the rider swap?

Do they make you stay in the area where they can see you? I remember there being a seating area guarded by a cast member at soarin.

Or can you go and come back later in the day?

How many riders can go back on the ride? I have read 1,2 or 3

Thanks for the feedback. My friend is making her fast passes tonight and we were trying to figure this all out. We would hate for the toddler to be standing around just waiting for everyone while they got to ride twice.

We went last November and you never had to wait around while other members of your party were riding a ride. You just had to be present upon their entrance. (We did not ride Soarin so things could be different there but we did ride ToT, Space Mountain,7D, Everest etc). We always fast passed 2 different rides- 1 for adults and 1 for kids to get the most out of our time. I believe the return rider swap ticket was good up for a week and for at least 3 people (didn't pay that much attention since we only have wee ones). Hope this helps. Curious to hear if things have changed since we r returning this Nov.

It is a max of 3 people

We used rider switch (RS) with FP on RnR today. Only had FP for me and two kids. DW then used the RS pass with the same two kids. There have been reports that some CMs require all riders to have an FP to use RS, but this seems to be much more the exception than the rule.

You do not have to sit "in view". The rider switch is good usually until the end of the month. We often use the switch passes on other days.
