Fast pass Rider swap question

I know this has been asked 100x's, I can't seem to find the answer in search :/.... 3 adults ,1 3yr old ( tall enough for most) and a 1 yr old. How many Fast passes do I need to book for an attraction that the 1 yr old can't ride?!(for example, 7DMT). I know that if it were just 2 adults, I could book just 1 and then we swap , but I didn't know about 3 adults. TIA!

The rider swap will be good for 3 people. So, in your party, 2 of the initial riders will be able to ride again with the rider swap (so 3 initial fast passes.) Or if you all just want 1 ride, 1 FP will let one rider ride and pick up the rider swap, and then the remaining 3 ride.

Got it! So who ever rides the first time must all have fast passes... So 2 fast passes for 2 adults and toddler( she will be 2 yrs old at check in so won't need a ticket) . Get off and 3rd adult and toddler could ride again with Rider swap. So I will only need to burn 2 fast passes for rides that we do Rider swap for if I'm understanding correctly!

Technically. You do not need a FP at all. Rider Swap is available at both the FP line, and stand-by line.

But I don't want to stand in the stand by line... ever, lol... that's why I am trying to utilize the fast passes and Rider swap... my fast pass window is coming up and and I want to have it ironed out as to how many I need to book per attraction
