i've been looking around for some disneyland tickets on ebay, and have noticed that a lot of people are asking if the tickets inlude fast pass, and some are getting replies that they don't. However, i thought the fast pass feature was included in all tickets. Am i wrong? Are there actually tickts out there that don't work with fast pass? thanks.

Hi and welcome!

Your park passes will not include FastPasses in that you need to get all FPs from the FP machines located in the park. FP is free, but you need to get it in the park at each individual FP attraction.

Everyone tells me to stay away from Ebay for tickets--yet there are people on there w/ over 1000+ positives on their tickets.......are they worth trusting?
Are you ordering from ebay for tickets and who has had bad luck w/ ordering off ebay?

I think but won't know for sure that we had a bad experience buying tickets from Ebay. The ad never said the tickets were military issue. When they arrived I noticed the back said military on them. None of us are in the military and I didn't know if Disney would honor them or not. So I called and spoke to a very nice woman who checked with someone else and she said miltary personnel can buy and resell the tickets to anyone they wish. Now I am worried that the tickets have been previously used or have expired since I don't see no expiration anywhere on them. They were sold to me as four day parkhopper/no expiration but I guess the only way we'll know for sure is when we send them through the machine the first day we want to use them. I have vowed to never buy tickets from Ebay again. I don't think my worry is worth the few dollars I saved and who knows if the tickets are even valid? Please think hard about it before you invest a lot of money.

i was just about to bid on some tickets a few minutes ago, and noticed something that made me stop. The tickets were four day hoppers, and the listing said that they used two of the days already, and that the tickets will expire on the 24. it just hit me that the math there doesn't add up. If the tickets were already used for two days and expire on the 24th, the first use must occur tomorrow because of the 13 day restriction. I emailed the seller asking for an explaination, and am still waiting for a reply...
i've been looking on ebay for tickets for about a week now, and still haven't found anything that meets my needs, so i'm just going to buy them for the regular price. however, i think that if you know what to look for and ask questions before bidding, you might be able to save yourself some money.

mavanilly, i've seen postings on other forums from people that say the military passes can be used by anybody and that they do not check for id, but unfortunately, you really won't know until you try it.

The WDW tickets do not include FP but the DL tickets to offer an unlimited FP feature for an added fee. You still have to go to the FP machines but you can get as many as you wish as opposed to having to wait for the window fo time to pass so you can get another FP. This is only offered for DL. I wish they had a similar feature for WDW. I got these when I visited DL in 2003. HTH :cool1:

Right before I left for WDW I got my hair cut and one of the hairdressers was saying how her parents were taking her kids to WDW. They had purchased their tickets on eBay and "they even include Fast Pass." I have a feeling that sellers are wording things in a way so as to make people think they are getting an added benefit from buying these particular tickets.

That is so cool!

However, I'm wondering what is the point of FP anymore when everybody can just get unlimited number of FP.

Luckily not everyone is willing to pay the extra. And like I said it was only in DL, I think WDW is too big to put something like that into play. But we could dream . . . . :sunny:

You only get this perk with packages booked through AAA.

Cheers.

Yes the seller was adding fluff.

The way I say it: "all tickets include Fast Pass" that is, the privilege of using the Fast Pass system.

Also (and this is somewhat new) you must stay onsite at one of the three Disney Resorts. So a lot fewer people will have them in DL now. So many people still do not use FP, it just makes my jaw drop. I consider it my duty to clue at least one family in per trip.

Oh and to the OP, I see Disney tickets sell OVER retail on ebay all the time. Make sure to know exactly what they are worth to you. I know people who have done it, but I will never buy tickets off ebay. It is too high a risk for so small a savings.

I didn't get this through AAA, I just called the CRO for DL tickets and they told me about it. Maybe now you can get them through AAA?? :confused3

It must have been awhile back then, if it was unlimited fp. You always get the regular FP use with any entry into the parks. I do think there was atime that the unlimeted fast pass was just for sale, because I remember deciding we didn't need it on one trip.

It would be nice to have in WDW, except that would just mean the FPs ran out even faster for the big rides...
