Fast Pass Question

HI Everyone,

I have a few questions about Fastpasses at WDW.

1. At DL, there are certain rides that are "unconnected". That is, you can have a FP for these rides regardless if you are holding a FP for another attraction. Do you guys have these at WDW?

2. At DL, you can use FP as late as you want. So, if your window is 10AM-11AM, you can use that FP at any time of the day. Same at WDW?

A few attractions at WDW allow getting another fast pass very quickly (example: Lights Motors at Disney Studios). I don't know what other rides are that way under normal conditions (no system malfunctions). In the case of Lights, Motors I don't know the exact timing but it was said that you could get a fast pass to something else ten minutes later, or get a Lights Motors fast pass about ten minutes later in violation of the time for next fast pass on the previous fast pass. The Lights Motors machines are not disconnected. Getting a (third) fast pass to something else is still subject to the rules, using the next fast pass time on the first or the second whichever is later.

Not sure whether WDW still does it, but a year ago during less busy times some rides had an unadvertised or hidden earlier next fast pass time, typically one hour after you had gotten your last fast pass. The interval could not be predicted, only guessed at given the stand by wait time for that ride. If you cut it too close the error message slip with the black spot parroted the next fast pass time on your previous fast pass.

Most of the time, WDW guests have been permitted to use fast passes after the "window" has expired but once in awhile a cast member denies such usage.

When we were there two weeks ago, I seem to remember that whenever we got a fast pass it said we were allowed to get another one 5 minutes after the original fast pass 'start' time.

For example...if we got a fast pass at 11am that said to return to Buzz Lightyear between 11:45am and 12:45pm, we could get another fast pass for a second ride after 11:50am. We actually did that a couple of times, getting the second fast pass before going and using the first.
