Fast Pass question

My 60 day mark for making fast pass reservations is not until March, however have a few questions. Is there any differences between using the MDE app on your phone or using a desktop computer? Is one way quicker than the other or it really doesn't matter. Additionally, would it be benificial for my husband to be on the computer at the same time as I am on the app to make fast passes or would that be counterproductive?

Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

No, it makes no difference...it's user preference. I prefer my phone to the desktop, I just find it easier.

Yes, it could be beneficial for DH to be on the computer at the same time.

When I'm doing heavy FP booking I prefer desktop - Chrome via an Incognito tab to be specific. I just like the user interface better, feels easier to bounce back and forth, I have two screens so I can have plans on one and FP booking on another etc.

But personal preference more than anything, as @Klayfish noted.

Have both available and logged in. If you have problems with one switch to the other (sometimes MDE works better via app, sometimes browser, sometimes no difference). Otherwise, I agree with pps that it's personal preference.

I am no techie so I will probably botch the explanation here... but it has something to do with the way the Disney website interacts with cookies on your browser. Incognito in Chrome (or Private browsing in Safari, or similar on other browsers) either doesn't track and/or clears cookies between browser sessions, so allows for 'cleaner' communication between your machine and Disney's servers. 4 out of 5 times if the website gives me trouble, if I switch to Incognito mode it solves the problem, or at least helps with overall functionality.

Again, I'm sure a tech person could do a much better job with the specifics.

I have an iPhone 6 and the MDE app glitches a lot on my phone. I used my MacBook a couple of weeks ago and although MDE was having problems that day, I managed to get all the FP's I wanted for our group of three on a seven day trip.

We always choose to use the computer when we are first making our FPS. Dh gets on his computer and I get on mine. I make a list of FPS for him to go for and ones for me so we can go for different ones at the same time that are hard to get
