We have a party of six with fast passes and now my friends kid wants to join us. There are no more fast passes left for the rides we want on the days we're going. Can she use one of her parents Magic Bands and take their place if they're willing to give it up to their kid? Does a picture show up when you use fast pass? Thinking her folks can take turns giving up their spot. Thanks! :yay:

As long as those MagicBands were used for park entry that day, no one will care who uses whose FP.

Honestly though, with a party of 6 and a child, I would just explain to Guest Relations the situation and see if they can add the kid to the FP+ party when you get there. They won't (can't) do it for FOP, might not do it for Frozen, maybe won't do it for Mine Train - but virtually everything else should be easy.

And worst case scenario, just go to the FP+ line with everyone and tell the CM working there that everyone but this kid has a FP because they were a last minute addition to the party and would be it all right if you guys could just ride together. A lot of the time, those CMs are perfectly willing to 'make magic' for a large party with one person, especially a child, who doesn't have a FP.

You may look into rider swap? I don't know details about how exactly it works, but that may be helpful for you. Depending on the age of the child.

So the parents all got FP+ but one child didn't? - if so they can just transfer it to her using the app if they want to. I would also suggest consistently checking via the app for those FP+, its often pretty easy to get a FP+ sometime in that window for a party of 1. Exceptions would be 7dmt, frozen and Pandora.

If the entire family doesn't have FP+ for the rides and now wants to join the OP'd party than yes one person can give up their FP+ ride for the child by either swapping MB (provided EVERYONE used the MB to enter the park that day) or transferring the fp+ to the child prior to that day.

I would not suggest adding guests to your party in hopes the CM will just wave them through, imho this is just a recipe for disappointment as the child really isn't entitled to use FP+ if he/she doesn't have one and could (probably will) be turned away.
