fast pass question

Someone told me that she could get tickets with fastpass. I told her that I didn't believe that you could buy/get a special fastpass ticket, that fastpass is available to everyone by putting your ticket in the fp machine. Is there some sort of special fastpass ticket that I'm not aware of? Thanks for the answer!

Yup! Unless she's thinking about the Dream FastPasses or something.

There's nothing you can buy, some people are selected by CM to recieve a FP for the day, at the park they're in, for all the FP rides in that park. I think it's called a dream pass. Universal has a pass you can buy for $20.00 to get you to the front of the line for the day. Maybe that's what she saw.

The confusion may be about the AAA pkgs at Disneyland that used to allow you multiple fast passes at one time. I believe this has been discontinued.
