Here's my question.....my husband and I have AP's and are staying at the Yacht Club. We have several relatives that live in Florida and have FLA residents AP's. How can we all book FP+ ahead of time so that we can ride together ??? Is this possible ???

It is not possible at this time unless your relatives have a MagicBand from a previous resort stay.

Right now, without the MagicBand, AP holders have no way to pre-book FP+. In the (maybe near?) future that may change, but for now it is not possible.

So Florida residents cannot book Fast Passes until they arrive at the park ?? And without the FP Machines how will this work ??? Very confusing

Right now (January 15, 2014), there are 2 different methods for FastPass for Annual Pass holders who do not have a MagicBand from staying at a resort:


At Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios:
The old paper FastPass system is still present. FP+ is not available at all if you don't have a MagicBand. You have to walk up to the ride you want, insert your Annual Pass, and get a paper ticket that shows your return time.


At Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom:
The old paper FastPass system is gone. Annual Pass holders (or anyone else) without MagicBands can go to a FP+ kiosk after entering the park that day and make 3 FP+ selections for the day. They can pick the 3 attractions and the times they want them (if still available). If they want to change them, they have to go to a different kiosk.

Thank you so much for the info, it seems that it will be a lot more difficult to coordinate with our Florida family. It may not make sense for my husband and I to book anything ahead of time and just wait until the day of and get what we can with our family. Bummer......
