Is it true the Key to the World Card has been replaced by Magic Bands? Does it work the same? I have heard of people getting fast passes 180 days out from their reservation. How do you know where you are going to be 180 days out?

Yes but if you don't want a magic band you can get a key to the world card. They work the same except you can do more with a magic band. It's you park ticket, room key, it's your FP, dinning reservation, and it can hold a credit card for you to tap to purchase items in stores throughout the parks. You can only book FP up to 60 days out no earlier. There are plenty of helpful thread out there where you can find info on the whole mymagic+ system and how it works.
