fast pass incentive

I guess I just don't get it. I don't mind coming back in a little bit, or even later that evening (since you don't really have to use it in that 1 hour span), and I would rather have the spending money. The fast passes are free to anyone who wants one with their ticket. We usually will collect a bunch of fastpasses (going on rides, in between collecting fastpasses, that don't require a fastpass), and then fastpass the night away!

during summer season, have been turned away @ Soarin' (yes, i did ask for a supervisor to no avail), didn't care that we were 1/2 hr 'late' due to long wait for ADR seating @ Coral Reef

Really? I have used FPs from the morning when we've gone back in the late afternoon or evening to Soarin'. I've not had a problem with any CM telling me they were expired.

When I signed up for dvc i was told I would receive a fastpass for everyone on my reservation, and it can be used for 3 days of our trip. I was wondering if anyone else received this and how it works. I guess we will get them when we check in.

We don't get any incentives yet, I'll check this hopefully in our next trip. This would be nice.

I don't know if people are getting confused or not....

DVC members do NOT get Fastpasses as a benefit for each trip they make, unless something has secretly changed...

Some people have apparently gotten some to use on their first visit for buying in (which I hadn't heard of before this thread).

You can also get them for taking the tour (compensation for your time).

Now, there are those RUMORS of resort guests in the future getting some sort of FPs, but that hasn't happened yet...

I just purchased pts at BLT and asked my guide about this and she had never heard of this.
