Fast pass and linked tickets

i am not eligible to make fastpasses until April, but I thought I’d “practice”. MDE stopped me on the first step and said that I needed to link my tickets. I put in my reservation confirmation number and the message said “This reservation is already linked to A Smith's (my name) account.”

My question is this.... Am I just getting this message because it’s not time yet to make fastpasses? I am worried that I’m going to get up on my FP date and get this same message. MDE shows all my information and looks as if everything is linked....

I’m confused and a little worried.

If you have Resort Package tickets, they will not allow "practice booking" until exactly 60 days before your check-in date.
