fast pass AND fast pass+

My family is going to Disney World in June. We tend to go every other year or every year. The last time we were there was Spring 2013. I am the trip planner... (yay!). We are very familiar with the old fast pass service and in fact we are quite good at using it. However we are new to the plus service. My question is this... are we able to use both? I understand with fastpass+ you can pick three attractions a day. On top of that can we still use the regular fastpass service? Please give any advice about this. I can start making fastpass+ reservations in April... but I'd like to start planning now. Thank you!

Credible sources are reporting that "regular" FP has only days to live. I recommend you study FP+ at this point. The three links together in my signature will give a solid overview.

You are no longer able to use FP and FP+ at the same time, as by the end of this week, all FP kiosks will be gone.
