Hi all-
Question for those of you that have experience flying home out of MCO. I know it can be an extremely busy airport with long lines and long waits, and we are definitely planning to get there early on the day we fly home. We have both CLEAR and TSA Precheck, so I'm not super concerned about the time it will take us to get through security. However, we will need to check bags before we go through security, and at many airports this can also mean long lines waiting to get up to the ticket counter to check the bags. We are flying Delta, and I do not have high enough status with them to have access to their "Sky Priority" fast lane to the ticket counter.
Does anyone know, if we are checking into our flight and getting our tickets through their Delta app, and the only reason we need to go to the ticket counter is to check the bags, are there any alternate ways to do this at MCO? Some airports have baggage drop only areas for people that have already checked in and don't need paper tickets. I wasn't able to find any information about this for Delta at MCO, however. So I thought I'd ask the experts! Thanks.
