Fast options for checking bags at MCO? (Delta)

Hi all-

Question for those of you that have experience flying home out of MCO. I know it can be an extremely busy airport with long lines and long waits, and we are definitely planning to get there early on the day we fly home. We have both CLEAR and TSA Precheck, so I'm not super concerned about the time it will take us to get through security. However, we will need to check bags before we go through security, and at many airports this can also mean long lines waiting to get up to the ticket counter to check the bags. We are flying Delta, and I do not have high enough status with them to have access to their "Sky Priority" fast lane to the ticket counter.

Does anyone know, if we are checking into our flight and getting our tickets through their Delta app, and the only reason we need to go to the ticket counter is to check the bags, are there any alternate ways to do this at MCO? Some airports have baggage drop only areas for people that have already checked in and don't need paper tickets. I wasn't able to find any information about this for Delta at MCO, however. So I thought I'd ask the experts! Thanks.

I usually only fly Southwest in and out of Orlando but...does Delta have skycaps outside? I found at Thanksgiving that there was NO line outside at the skycaps for my Southwest flight while the lines were atrocious inside. It took a few extra steps (and a tip) to go outside but it was totally worth it.

Curbside check-in (you'll need to tip them though) and/or use the app to prepay for them and then you can print the bag tags at a kiosk and not have to wait in the long check-in line at all.

Having CLEAR with pre-check though you don't need to be there terribly early. I was there an hour before my flight (no checked bags) and had time to have two drinks in the lounge because of CLEAR.

You still have to wait in the line to drop the bags because they have to match the ID to the bag tag. IME, Delta's operation isn't nearly as congested at MCO as some of the other airlines are. They just don't move the volume of flights that some of the others do.
