Hiya, I was wondering what good fast food is around Disneyland outside the gates? I dont want to be just eating in the parks as I want to try different American fast food places around the area. I wont have a car but I dont mind a good walk either.

thanks guys.

McDonalds is right across the street. Denny's & IHOP are too & while not "fast" food, they are American classics.

I know my dh went do to, I believe it was, Taco Bell one night. If it wasn't that it was Del Taco. Anyway, he did drive but I don't know how far it was...

There is also a Quiznos, a sandwich shop that is fast food right across the street on Harbor.

FYI, don't eat at the Captain Kidd's or the IHOPs on Harbor. The Captain Kidd's is just gross and nasty, the IHOPs are way overpriced!! Denny's on Harbor is good tho. :)

Further down on Harbor is a Jack in the Box next to a Del Taco and also a Carls Junior a few blocks down...

Just be sneaky and sneak it into the park. We usually will buy several Carl's Jr. $0.99 cent chicken sandwiches & burgers and stuff them in every hiding place on us we can find. They are totally OK with people bringing in assorted snacks & plastic bottled and canned beverages. But for some reason we are under the impression that Fast Food would not be OK which is why we're a little more careful with that.

Yes, they will get cold if you don't eat them right away, but they don't taste all that bad. And if we're at California Adventure that day, we may or may not go into the Pilot's Grill to freshen up our fast food with their salad bar. We do buy fries from there so in a way we are still patrons and have a right to be there.

I just looked at the Gardenwalk and the dining options look great. I looked it up on google maps and from our Best Western Anaheim Inn it is only 0.6 of a mile. Is there any reason we couldn`t walk there?

You could walk there, there are sidewalks the whole way. :) The food at the GW is soooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! :)

That is great! I see they have a Marble Slab Creamery. I have always wanted to try one and now I can. Yeah!

There is also a Cold Stone Creamery in one of the hotels, I want to say it's the Desert Inn but I'm not 100% sure, someone here will know tho. :)

Yeah there is a :worship:coldstone creamery at the Parkvue inn next door to the Desert inn.....

Guess I should of read through the entire thread before posting. thanks.

To clarify, if you're coming from the GCH walk thru the esplanade, you will have to go thru security on either side, and then walk straight thru to Harbor. Once there cross at the light with everyone else, the Denny's is down to the right, the Mimi's and Millie's are both to the left, the Garden Walk is also to the right.
