Hi guys,

We are arriving around 5 PM at the Swan and needing to pick up something quick. We want to head to DTD afterwards. I know they have McD's but want something different away from DTD. We will only be there overnight before our cruise so we are trying to get the most out of our short stay. It is sooooo hard not to go to the Parks this time. :sad2::rolleyes:

Thanks!

Just thought of breakfast in the morning as well. Any suggestions?

Someone told me that the Dolphin had a "food court" of sorts. Is that true?

If you walk across to the Dolphin there is a 24hr buffeteria. The S/D's version of a food court.

For a quick TS dinner, walk over to the Dolphin and find the DOLPHIN FOUNTAIN. It's a sandwich shop with ice cream (and other) desserts, similar to Beaches 'n Cream, but without the crowds. :)

For breakfast, give FRESH a try. It is also in the Dolphin. If you are DVC members, you can get a 20% discount at both places by showing your blue membership card.

Don't know if either takes reservations - we've never needed one.

Exactly.

Walk next door to The Dolphin and head to The Fountain.

Some of (if not the BEST) burgers on all of the property.

Also, great flat bread sandwiches (Try 'The Cuban', it's amazing) and some surprisingly good chicken veggie soup.

We LUV the place.

I agree, the Fountain is great. If you want something faster, we really liked Picabu. It is the Dolphin's cafeteria-style eatery. We had several yummy meals there in June! :thumbsup2

The Fountain burgers rock! Absolutely one of the best burgers at WDW.

The Fountain does not take ADR's, but I agree, we've never needed one either. Fresh does take ADR's, and depending on the convention crew(s) staying at the S/D, it might be a good idea to have one.

Another recommendation for Picabu. Been there a couple times and it is quite good and has a nice selection of things to eat.
