Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder, right?

I'm not a parent, but I knew a child at one point who had FASD. This child had some very serious ADHD issues (it was immediately obvious when the child was off their meds, like the minute they walked in the door). The child has no impulse control without meds, and with meds it is barely manageable. There are some behavior concerns, but the child is a very sweet child otherwise. The child also suffered some severe neglect in the past so I dont know how much of the behavior comes from that.

There were some physical aspects to it as well. The child was very short stature, despite being given growth hormone and was very skinny. The child also had some poor vision and a high squeaky voice which I believe was due to FAS. I hope this helps.

Have you tried searching Google? You might do better finding a forum for FASD rather than trying a Disney forum. Good luck.

Great idea to ask here as there is such a cross section of the world represented.
I studied Fetal Alcohol Syndrome in college but have no personal knowledge.
