You can send the "send turkeys" notice from your turkey roost...that's the only place I've seen the notice.

Ah, thanks! I'm surprised they don't have a way to just send them to your friends via gifting, but maybe that will come later.

How do I get a "thanksgiving feast"? I got a fruitcake and it says I need a thanksgiving feast, but I don't see it in the market (well, there is a Harvest table for 20 farm cash)

I never got the free turkey roost, I had to pay 5000 coins for it.

And every time I try to accept an acorn, maple leaf or pumpkin, it gets lost

I'm getting frustrated this week.

The acorns, leaves and pumpkins are for a collection. I'm not sure about the Thanksgiving Feast, but I somehow get suckered into every new thing they start so I'm sure I'll find out, lol.

The maple leaves, pumpkins and acorns are things that your friends can send you as gifts (or you can find them while harvesting, planting, etc) to complete the fall collection Which is one of the temporary collections.

I'm not entirely clear on the Thanksgiving feast, but I know that the turkeys in my roost produced a fruitcake which appeared in my giftbox. When I click use on the fruitcakes, it tells me that I need a "thanksgiving feast" to use the fruitcake. I think its going to turn out to be like the backpack, storage cellar etc that when I collect a certain number of fruitcakes I can trade them in for some decoration or sheep, but I'm not sure. I don't see one on anybody else's farm yet, so maybe the feast just isn't available yet...

I wish they would communicate some of these things better.

I bought the Thanksgiving feast, and have accumalated quite a few fruitcakes over the past couple of days. However every time I try to use one it tells me I'm not ready yet. With the new additions today, I think we'll find out what it's for quite soon.

Right...turkeys produce fruitcake...which is scary if you think about it. Anyway...I've seen on FarmvilleFreak.com there is a Thanksgiving feast table coming out sometime. They are really behind this year on holiday stuff...Thanksgiving is next week for crying out loud. Nothing much has been released so far. I hope they do a better job on Christmas.

Thanks to everyone that accepted my new neighbor request! I'm up for a few more if anyone else is also looking.

None of my new neighbors from today are showing up on my farm yet, but two are on my neighbors list. One is mia from everywhere, so if you don't see me anywhere we might have to re-request to be farming neighbors. Nothing goes 100% smoothly on Farmville I've learned, lol.

I just got the Thanksgiving table tonight, I think I was at the end of the rollout. I have my eye on that baby turkey, so cute.

Okay, I created a group called farming and also did a thing using edit friends and created a farming friend list. When I've been posting farming freebies I've been selecting to only post to farming. Nothing seems to be showing up on the wall of those listed in my farming list, but it's all on my wall.

Any ideas? I'm not sure if there's just a problem tonight with things showing up or if it's a problem with me trying to use the farming list. Other farmers have things showing up on my wall.

I guess I'll give up on my list, I was trying to not have everything show up and annoy my non-farming friends.

Agreed. I hope they turn off wither because I am having a hard time getting online and I will be annoyed if I lose a whole crop. I don't care about the mastery points as much, but I am trying to save coins and I have columbine planted- at 400ish coins times about 500 plots, that's a $200,000 coin crop I have right now. I go to bed around 9pm, I hope I can get online before I go to bed.

Also for some strange reason when I claim bushels from the feed they don't ever seem to show up. Anyone else have that problem???

I don't have any problems with the turkeys but sometimes I can't see any bushels in my intentory. I've found when that happens, the main building (spa, bakery, etc.) hasn't loaded properly so I just reload the game and that seems to fix it.

Ah, I will give that a try. I give up on my turkey situation, I am apparently just not meant to have that many turkeys on my farm.

I have one neighbor who sends me stuff but I only get it every now and then...I don't know why.

I thought everyone playing got that free stuff when it's first introduced. I think sometimes you have to be at a certain level to get some things but the stuff you've mentioned should be available to everyone...if that's what they're doing.
